Before I ended up taking a video editing class in college, I got started editing movies on iMovie, doing stop-motion videos and video assignments for school. It isn’t as precise as Premiere or other editing softwares designed for videographers, but it functions great for any of the fundamental edits you might need to make. Transitions, sound edits, titles, and more are all easily done on iMovie.
I wanted to include some iMovie tutorials because I know it is a more accessible software, and it is a great place for beginners. I do recommend working with the computer version rather than the phone app if you will be spending lots of time working on a project, since it is easier to find video clips on the computer.
